Registration & Fees

Registration for the 2022-2023 Season Is Open!

All players must register for the season prior to season start.

Steps for registration:

  1. Register your player with USA Hockey.
  2. Register your player with ICH for the 2022-2023 season here

  3. For 10U and 12U Travel Team players email or

  4. Order team Jerseys & Socks prior to September 1st here

    • Game Jerseys (Black and White) and socks required uniforms. 
    • Fitting dates are August 28th, 4:00-6:00 pm, or August 29th 7;15-8:15 pm. Check with your team's manager for jersey number availability.
    • Check home page for more information. 

2022-2023 ICH Season Fees

Iowa City Hockey Association Youth Teams

  • Jr. Heartlanders (Co-Ed)
  • Maidens of Mayhem (Girls Only)

Developmental League Fees (all players)

  • 6U: $200
  • 8U: $400 (Tournament fees extra, approximately $40 per tournament attended, collected by the team manager.)
  • Developmental: $500 (Two practices, one
    as a developmental group/team , one with
    the age appropriate team. 10U age player
    with 10U team. Games may be scheduled
    depending on interest and opponent

Travel Team Fees

*Register before 8/14 and receive a $100 early registration discount 

  • 10U: $1150
  • 12U: $1250
  • 14U: $1400
  • 18U: $1400

Travel Team Fee Early Registration Discount
Registrations made before August 14 will be
provided with $100 discount.

Travel Team Late Registration Fee
Registrations made after October 1 will incur a
$100 late fee.

Travel Team Player Minimum
8-player minimum for travel teams. Players will be
notified on or before Oct. 1 if minimums have not
been met. Alternatives include non-competition play
or combining of teams.

Age Divisions
December 31st, 2022 is the transition date set for
Iowa by USA Hockey. Examples: 6u for 2022-23
season will have players who were born 2015 and
2016. 8u will have players who
were born 2014 and 2015.

Fee Payment Options & Schedule

When registering for the season, participants can choose to pay online or offline. 

Additional Costs

In addition to the fees above, travel team players who do not have current game jerseys and socks will need to purchase those items (cost to be determined).  Warm-up jackets and pants may also be purchased for an additional cost. 

Jersey, sock, and warm-up orders will be coordinated by team managers.  


If paying offline, the FULL amount of the registration will be due by the first practice the player participates in. (Contact if you have further questions about offline payment.). Payments can be made by Check or Venmo, and
coordinated with Melanie Wahl, ICH Treasurer.


NOTE: An additional processing fee, collected by SportsEngine, applies when paying online.  The processing fee is 3% of the total, plus $1 for each transaction.  Participants can choose to pay online in full or spread payments out through a payment plan, but the full processing fee is due upon registration for online payments.

Registration -$100 plus processing fees (3% + $1 per transaction) due upon registration - ALL PLAYERS

6U, 8U and All Developmental League Players - Remaining fees split into two (2) equal installments automatically charged to the card/account used at registration on or about:

  • November 5
  • January 5

10U and Up Travel Team Players - Remaining fees split into five (5) equal payments automatically charged to the card/account used at registration on or about:

  • October 5
  • November 5
  • December 5
  • January 5
  • February 5
